So yesterday I was nearly hit by a car. I was walking by the lake and I needed to cross the street, there are 4 lanes, 2 in each direction. I waited at the crosswalk. Like a lot of people, I'd been suffering from social media fatigue lately. I've been extremely online ever since I can remember. I didn't grow up with it, I'm Gen X, but I was interested when a friend told me about his college message board in the late 80s.
