There's a timeline in which I didn't make this year's festival. Maybe not such a huge deal in the greater scheme of things, but it's something I've come to anticipate and enjoy over the years. Plus I had my own personal streak to keep alive. So, circumstances being what they were, I had a festival ticket and was holding out to see whether or not I could make it.
