The cover I didn't know I needed, I love it so much. Snail Mail covering Smashing Pumpkins' Tonight, Tonight. Seems like she started playing it live a few years ago, then it showed up earlier this year on the soundtrack for I Saw the TV Glow (cool movie, btw), and now it's out in the universe. Press play.

Sitting here on a stupid hot Sunday, I put on the new Kasey Chambers album (Backbone) to check it out. I'd call myself a casual listener, at best. I know who she is and she's on my radar, but she hasn't been one of my go-to's. But that's not the point. The point is, on this new album, the final track is a recording from a show she did a couple years ago.
