I watched Back to Black (2024) recently. It kinda made me sad, thinking about Amy, but I felt like it softened the edges of her story, her addictions, and her demons. Also, from what I know, her father is a complete shit. But here, he's supportive and saying things like "that's my Amy!" and whatnot. It doesn't align with what I know, so I feel like someone is taking some liberties here. Been listening to this podcast about the films of John Hughes and the music that soundtracks them. Like many peeps, I grew up with John Hughes movies so these podcasts are super interesting. One of the main hosts, Tarquin Gotch, was the music supervisor for most of the movies. He's got a ton of interesting info. There are six episodes, each one focuses on a different film: Planes, Trains & Automobiles, The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, Some Kind of Wonderful.
