I watched Back to Black (2024) recently. It kinda made me sad, thinking about Amy, but I felt like it softened the edges of her story, her addictions, and her demons. Also, from what I know, her father is a complete shit. But here, he's supportive and saying things like "that's my Amy!" and whatnot. Been listening to this podcast about the films of John Hughes and the music that soundtracks them. Like many peeps, I grew up with John Hughes movies so these podcasts are super interesting. One of the main hosts, Tarquin Gotch, was the music supervisor for most of the movies. He's got a ton of interesting info. There are six episodes, each one focuses on a different film: Planes, Trains & Automobiles, The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, Some Kind of Wonderful.
