Welcome back to Record of the Week, whomever reads this. Summer is in full swing now. Luckily the bay area remains naturally air-conditioned. It's been a little warm but nothing like what other cities are going through at the moment. On to the record selected by the Randomizer this week, it's The Gits' 1992 release, Frenching the Bully. I never listened to The Gits back in the early 90s when they came up. I had heard the name, I think Kurt Cobain had championed them back then, but not the music. But yeah, I hadn't listened until now. Recently, news of The Gits popped up into my feed, as their albums had just been remastered and rereleased. "Why not?"
