Welcome back to Record of the Week, whomever reads this. Summer is in full swing now. Luckily the bay area remains naturally air-conditioned. I never listened to The Gits back in the early 90s when they came up. I had heard the name, I think Kurt Cobain had championed them back then, but not the music. But yeah, I hadn't listened until now. Recently, news of The Gits popped up into my feed, as their albums had just been remastered and rereleased. "Why not?"
