I watched Back to Black (2024) recently. It kinda made me sad, thinking about Amy, but I felt like it softened the edges of her story, her addictions, and her demons. Also, from what I know, her father is a complete shit. But here, he's supportive and saying things like "that's my Amy!" and whatnot. It doesn't align with what I know, so I feel like someone is taking some liberties here. There's a timeline in which I didn't make this year's festival. Maybe not such a huge deal in the greater scheme of things, but it's something I've come to anticipate and enjoy over the years.
