Coming in late for this month's mixtape. I like this one a lot, hopefully someone else out there does as well. Next month's will almost assuredly be late if life goes to plan. We'll see what happens.
2025 Faves

A couple of my new faves from 2025. I haven't been able to put down Annie DiRusso's Super Pedestrian and Momma's Welcome to My Blue Sky. Both have crunchy indie rock vibes. They're catchy, super breezy and don't overstay. Especially good listening in a car with all the windows down on a nice day. Or on headphones if you're walking around. I feel like these are not albums for sitting around. Unless you get the records. That would be a different story. In any case, please click on the album covers and follow the links to hear each album. Let...

It's still the first week of April, so I don't consider myself to be late, but here is your April mix. I've made a few other "possible film soundtracks," this is the first one I made of the bunch. I think I picked up the feel pretty well. Let me know what you think.

Hi, a little late but here's this month's mix, Songs Inspired by Famous People. Most of these are pretty obvious, but you might have to dig a little for a handful. That song about Olivia Newton John (by California Oranges) is one of my faves. And Monica Bellucci, by Sweet Trip. The FOTC song about David Bowie is pretty funny. Anyways, yeah, I love 'em all. Tell me which ones you like, or if there are others you like that aren't on this list. Enjoy.
February Mix: Night Drive

I was watching Drive (2011) the other night, which frequently seems to be something I do when it's late and I want to watch something but don't know what I'm in the mood for. Decided to try my hand at making a night drive mix. I had to nick one of the songs from the Drive soundtrack, Nightcall (Kavinsky & Lovefoxxx). Think I kinda succeeded in capturing that feel. I tried to have it go from chill to slightly more up-tempo, then drop the bottom out at the end. But whatever, it was a fun exercise. Hope someone likes it. ...
