Happy 30th anniversary to Jellyfish's Spilt Milk, originally released 9 February 1993, one my all time faves. A sparkly monster of a pop album, it's a kaleidoscope of ideas and influences but doesn't sound like any one thing except itself (if that makes any sense). It's like if Queen, The Beach Boys and The Beatles all mutated into one organism (a jellyfish!). I had gotten into them with their first album, Bellybutton. I really liked that one, so I was in on Spilt Milk on day one. It's been with me all these years and will be til I die. Buy it, stream it, steal it. Do what you gotta do to get it into your rotation. Super recommended.
