The Kick Inside

Went to my local record store for some browsing. They had a Japanese pressing of Kate Bush's The Kick Inside which I absolutely did not need but, you know, I bought anyways. Definitely worth a listen if you're any level of Springsteen fan, or even if you're Springsteen-curious.

One of my fave metal albums, Queensrÿche's Operation: Mindcrime (1988). I picked up this reissue a few years ago. I get obsessed with this album every so often and this week has been one of those weeks of listening to it at least once a day. It's a concept album about a heroin addict slash radical who is brainwashed into joining an anarchic group. It all goes downhill from there, as you can imagine. But, we get a pretty great album out of it. I'm gonna keep listening to it until I'm not, and then I'll come back to it...
